Richard Iley

Joined SPX in 2018. He started his career as a Senior economics assistant at HM Treasury in 1992. In 1998, he became London chief economist at ABN AMRO. At BNP Paribas, he assumed the position of senior economist (London), senior economist (NY), chief economist Asia and Japan (Hong Kong) and chief economist of Emerging Markets. In May 2017, he became Research analyst at Smartkarma (Hong Kong). He holds a degree in Modern Art History from University College (London), a postgraduate degree in Economics and a master’s degree in International Economics and Econometrics from the University of Sussex (UK).
