Edson Peli

Joined SPX in 2021 as a partner in Private Equity. Edson was a Managing Director at The Carlyle Group focused on private equity investments in South America, primarily in Brazil, for over 13 years. Since 2008 at Carlyle, he has directly participated in more than R$ 5 billion in equity investments from Carlyle’s funds in the healthcare, education and consumer & retail sectors. Prior to Carlyle, Edson worked in investment banking at Credit Suisse in Brazil from 2004 to 2008, where he participated in several M&A and IPO transactions across various sectors. Prior to that, Edson worked in credit risk analysis at Citi from 2002 to 2004. Edson graduated in Business Administration at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and holds a Certificate of Specialization in Corporate Finance & Capital Markets at The University of Texas at Austin.
